Real Madrid are again being linked with a spectacular move for Michael Olise, with reports in Spain suggesting the club could be prepared to test Bayern Munich’s resolve with one of the biggest transfer offers in football history.
The French attacker has become one of the standout names of the summer after a brilliant season in Germany and an impressive World Cup with France.
According to Fichajes.net, Real Madrid view Olise as a possible statement signing, with the kind of technical quality, creativity and attacking production that could make him a long-term star at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The report, however, does not present the move as a completed offer. It frames the situation as a developing transfer rumour, and Bayern’s public stance remains firm.

A record-breaking idea
Olise’s value has risen sharply after an outstanding campaign with Bayern Munich.
Fichajes.net describes him as a player whose numbers now place him among Europe’s elite, with the winger reportedly producing 22 goals and 31 assists across all competitions during the 2025/26 season.
His profile fits an obvious need for Real Madrid. Olise can play from the right, move inside, combine with midfielders and create chances without being limited to a traditional winger’s role.
According to GOAL, citing SPORT, the package being discussed would be worth €223 million, made up of €190 million in fixed fees and €33 million in add-ons.

If such an offer were ever made and accepted, it would surpass the €222 million Paris Saint-Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar in 2017, still the world-record transfer fee.
Madrid deny contact
There is, however, an important caveat.
Real Madrid have publicly pushed back against the speculation. In an official statement, the club said: “Real Madrid C. F. wishes to clarify that it has not had any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned footballer, his representatives or individuals in his circle.”
The club also stressed its strong institutional relationship with Bayern Munich and said any interest in a Bayern player would first be handled directly between the two clubs.

That statement does not necessarily end the rumour cycle, but it does mean any report of an active operation should be treated with caution.
Bayern stand firm
Bayern Munich are in a strong position.
Olise is under contract until 2029, and the German club do not need to sell. More importantly, they see him as one of the central figures in their future.
Quoted by Cadena SER, Bayern president Herbert Hainer said: “If Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez had an offer in mind, he can save himself the effort, because we do not want to sell Michael.”

Hainer also said Real Madrid had contacted Bayern to make clear that they had “absolutely no contact with Michael Olise” and did not want “these constant speculations in the media.”
That leaves Bayern with little reason to negotiate, unless the player himself decides to push for a move.
A transfer story that will not disappear
For now, Olise remains a Bayern player, and Real Madrid have denied any direct approach.
Still, the story is unlikely to disappear quickly. Olise’s form, his age and his ability to decide matches at the highest level make him exactly the type of player who attracts Real Madrid attention.

A bid above €200 million would shake the market. But between Bayern’s public resistance, Madrid’s official denial and the scale of the fee involved, this remains a difficult and highly speculative deal rather than a transfer close to completion.
