The €70 million line has not moved and neither has any serious buyer. Spanish daily AS reported that Real Madrid will listen for that price and nothing less, and that no proposal close to that valuation has reached the Bernabéu as the Spanish window heads toward its 11:59pm local time close on Tuesday.
Manchester United have been the most persistent link. There was talk of a bid around €50 million from Old Trafford earlier in the window, but nothing landed. The gap between the reported English interest and the Madrid asking price has held throughout the summer.
The 23-year-old is not agitating for the door either. Back in April, Marca reported that Camavinga had no intention of leaving despite an inconsistent season and the swirl of transfer speculation.
Mourinho’s midfield already crowded
The rebuild under José Mourinho, appointed on a three-year deal in June, has stacked rather than thinned the midfield around Camavinga. Bernardo Silva joined on a free transfer from Manchester City on a two-year contract, adding to a group that already featured Federico Valverde and fellow France international Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Tchouaméni is the more direct competitor for the same defensive-midfield brief. His presence is one reason Real Madrid have been willing to entertain offers for Camavinga at the right number, even as they have shown no urgency to accept a discount.
No more incomings unless someone leaves
Real Madrid have ruled out further signings before the window closes, having already completed six senior arrivals earlier in the summer. Any late move for a new face would depend on a sale first, and no departure looks imminent.
Camavinga’s situation is one of the last unresolved threads at the Bernabéu on deadline day. The story is a Spanish-media claim rather than an official club statement, and neither Real Madrid nor Manchester United have confirmed anything. With the asking price fixed at €70 million and no bid close to it on the table, the 23-year-old is on course to still be a Real Madrid player when the window shuts at midnight in Madrid.
