British professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, known to AEW fans as PAC and to WWE viewers as Neville, has died at 40. All Elite Wrestling announced his death on Sunday, September 27, sending condolences to his family, friends and fans. The company gave no details about the cause of death. The announcement came one day after he appeared at its All Out event near Chicago, a sequence also reported by SPORTbible.
His final appearance came at All Out
PAC challenged Andrade El Ídolo for the AEW National Championship on Saturday, September 26. Andrade retained the title after countering PAC’s submission hold into a pin, according to AEW’s official All Out results. PAC also appeared later during the event’s main event alongside the Death Riders. AEW has not connected his death to anything that happened at the show, and the circumstances remain undisclosed.
From Neville to PAC
Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Satterley began wrestling in 2004 and built a career across several countries. He joined WWE in 2012, performing first as Adrian Neville and then as Neville. His WWE profile lists championships in NXT and the cruiserweight division and recalls the aerial ability that became his signature.
He signed with AEW in 2019, becoming its first All-Atlantic Champion and later winning the World Trios Championship. He wrestled with Penta and Rey Fénix as part of Death Triangle and more recently belonged to the Death Riders. His speed, physical intensity and high-flying style made him a distinctive figure in both promotions.

Tony Khan remembers a friend and performer
AEW founder Tony Khan paid tribute in a personal statement on X, saying Satterley “defined excellence” through his skill, professionalism and dedication to wrestling. Khan also described him as a beloved husband and friend. His tribute and AEW’s announcement honour a career that was still active at the time of his death; neither supplied a cause.
