Jake Paul lists more than a dozen fights he wants after the Joshua KO

Ten months after Anthony Joshua broke his jaw in two places, Jake Paul has gone back on X with a hit-list that stretches from Canelo Álvarez and Deontay Wilder to…

Jake Paul opened the post with “Before I rest…” and signed off with “Make it happen,” tagging his business partner Nakisa Bidarian. In between sat a roll call that ran across professional boxing, MMA and the influencer-boxing circuit. It is exactly the format Paul uses to drive conversation around his next bout.

Boxing media relayed the post on October 7, listing the targets as Canelo Álvarez, Ryan Garcia, Deontay Wilder, Francis Ngannou, Conor McGregor, Sean Strickland, Darren Till, KSI, Chris Eubank Jr., Edgar Berlanga, Tom Aspinall and Nate Diaz. Paul specified he wants Aspinall in a boxing ring, McGregor in either code, and Diaz in MMA. He also referred to an unnamed fighter he blamed for ruining a previous card and added a line about chasing a world title.

None of the fights has been agreed.

The Joshua KO sits on top of every pitch

The last time Paul fought, Joshua stopped him at 1:31 of the sixth round on December 19, 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, and Paul left the Netflix card with his jaw fractured in two places. On the night he posted an X-ray on social media alongside one line:

“Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days.”

Bidarian spent the spring laying out a quieter version of the comeback. In a May call with SI, he said Paul was “keen for the Tommy Fury rematch” and still wanted “to try to become a cruiserweight champion,” with Álvarez and Francis Ngannou named as the bigger targets. Fury and the cruiserweight belt are missing from the October list entirely.

Which fights are actually plausible

The hardest sell on the list is Aspinall. The Briton vacated the UFC heavyweight title in mid-September because his eyes had not fully healed from the eye-poke that stopped his bout with Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 on October 25, 2025. He remains under UFC contract, and a boxing crossover would need the kind of UFC approval nobody in Paul’s camp has previously been given.

Wilder is a more tangible name, if not for the reason Paul’s list suggests. The former WBC heavyweight champion has climbed back from the Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang defeats and now sits at number four in the WBC rankings, behind Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Frank Sanchez. The weight gap with a cruiserweight-sized Paul is a bigger obstacle than the sanctioning.

Álvarez, Ryan Garcia and Edgar Berlanga sit in the plausible-but-not-queued pile, with Álvarez’s camp having publicly downplayed the fight earlier in the year. KSI and Chris Eubank Jr. are the kind of event cards Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions has already built around. Strickland, Darren Till and Nate Diaz are the stretch picks.

Paul has not fought since the Joshua defeat and has not announced a return date.
