Only 1,899 shirts exist, and they will not be worn again. FC Barcelona and Spotify have confirmed Tyler, the Creator as the ninth artist to take over the chest of the Catalan club’s jersey, with the GOLF logo of his streetwear label GOLF WANG replacing the Spotify wordmark for El Clásico at Spotify Camp Nou on 25 October.
The run of 1,899 is a nod to the club’s founding year. GOLF WANG, which Tyler founded in 2011, has grown from a merch line into a global streetwear brand with stores in Los Angeles, New York, London and Sydney, and the chest-logo swap places it alongside Drake and the Rolling Stones in Barcelona’s running music series.
Tyler directed the campaign film himself and curated the collection released under the Spotify x GOLF WANG x FC Barcelona banner. According to Spotify, the capsule features “bold colours, intricate details and playful design,” with pieces including a brown letterman jacket with turquoise “Barça” text, a tracksuit and retro-inspired jumpers. Jackets, hoodies, track pants, T-shirts, shorts, scarves and socks went on sale online and in Barça’s stores today.
The women’s team gets first use of the shirt. Barcelona Femení face Granada CF on 24 October at 8:30pm local time, with a launch party badged as the Copa De Golf that same evening and DJ Yung Taco on the decks. The men’s Clásico follows the day after.

From Drake to Tyler, the Creator
The music takeovers started with Drake in 2022, the first time the club handed its chest sponsorship over to an artist. Rosalía and the Rolling Stones followed in 2023, Karol G and Coldplay in 2024, Travis Scott and Ed Sheeran in 2025, and Olivia Rodrigo in May 2026. Each edition is pegged to a marquee fixture, and El Clásico has become the fixed stage for the biggest drops.
Flick’s team arrive on a ten-match run
The timing suits Spotify. Hansi Flick’s Barcelona have extended their winning streak to ten matches after coming from behind to beat Galatasaray 4-1 in Istanbul on Tuesday, with a perfect eight-from-eight start in LaLiga and 43 goals scored.
Flick was asked after the Galatasaray win whether his team’s level had surprised him, and brushed the question aside.
“When I see the quality in the training, which is what counts, I am not surprised. I know the team. I am 100% convinced about my team,” he told reporters.
