The jokes started almost the moment the news dropped. Within hours of Brady being linked to the Victoria’s Secret model, social media had settled on the same punchline, with fan reactions compiled by Gridiron Heroics pointing out that the 49-year-old retired quarterback appears to have a very particular type.
A source told Us Weekly on Saturday, October 24, that Brady and Swanepoel had been dating “for a while.” Neither party has publicly confirmed the relationship, and representatives for both did not respond to requests for comment.
Swanepoel, 38, has been one of Victoria’s Secret’s most recognizable faces since she signed as an Angel in 2010, and she walked for the brand again at its 2026 fashion show earlier this month. Bündchen, whose marriage to Brady ran from 2009 to 2022, built her own fame on the exact same runway. The parallel is what fans fixed on.
‘Rich men can’t lose’
“He definitely has a type. She’s a lucky girl!” one fan wrote, in a reaction cited by Gridiron Heroics. Another was blunter, telling the outlet that rich men “can’t lose” when they simply replace a partner with a younger version. Several of the posts the outlet aggregated made the same observation about the physical similarity between Swanepoel and Bündchen.

The humor is a step up in tone from most Brady post-divorce coverage, which has mostly been built on short-lived rumors involving other models and actresses.
Miami base, kept quiet
The pair are both reported to be based in Miami, which sources told IBTimes UK has made it easier for them to spend time together away from cameras. The relationship is said to have started in June, with Brady and Swanepoel going to some lengths to avoid being photographed in public.
Brady spends most Sundays in a Fox Sports booth these days, calling NFL games as the network’s lead analyst. Bündchen, meanwhile, has been with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, with whom she had a son in early 2025.
Neither Brady nor Swanepoel has posted about the other, and no joint sighting has been photographed.
