Balotelli lands in Dubai after UAE agreement

A familiar name, a new destination

Mario Balotelli is once again changing clubs, this time with a move to the Middle East. The former Italy international was spotted in Dubai after finalising a new agreement over the weekend, adding another chapter to a career that has taken him across several leagues and continents.

Confirmation from transfer reporting

According to football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Balotelli arrived in Dubai after completing a deal to join Al Ittifaq in the UAE. Romano reported the development on January 11 via his verified social media account, noting that the agreement had been signed before the player’s arrival.

The report indicated that all contractual steps were completed ahead of time, allowing Balotelli to travel once the deal was formally sealed.

Agency role in the agreement

Romano also reported that the transfer process was handled by Epic Sports Italy, the agency involved in managing the negotiations and finalising the agreement. No additional public statements have yet been issued by either the player or the club, making Romano’s reporting the primary source confirming the move.
