F1 star comments on reports linking Hamilton and Kardashian
Liam Lawson says he has been hearing the same Lewis Hamilton–Kim Kardashian rumours as everyone else and he does not see the harm.
The Racing Bulls driver addressed the speculation during an appearance on the Gypsy Tales podcast, revealing the story had even reached his own living room.
“Hannah [St John, his girlfriend] has been talking about this today. Like, literally today, she was like, ‘Liam, Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are dating now!’”
Lawson laughed as he described the situation, but he also made a broader point about Formula 1’s expanding audience.

“It’s great for the sport, to be fair. The sport has grown so much in the last few years. I don’t know how it can be bad for the sport.
“Again, if it’s legit, then great. I’m stoked for them. But so many things come out that are not [true]… like 90 per cent of what you read, even more.”
Media reports and Hamilton’s response
Reports linking Hamilton and Kardashian have circulated in British and US media, including coverage by The Sun and TMZ. The claims have not been independently confirmed.
Hamilton has declined to engage with the speculation. During pre-season testing in Bahrain, he was asked whether he had enjoyed his company more than the Super Bowl itself. Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz later described the exchange.

“He was asked that in the written press. He was asked, ‘Did you enjoy your company more than the game at the Super Bowl?’
“And he said, ‘It’s my private life, I’m not talking about that’. So that’s me told!”
At a separate media appearance, former Mercedes team-mate George Russell also teased him, asking if he was “all loved up” and pressing for “the latest”. Hamilton responded with a smile but offered no further comment.
Celebrity spotlight on a growing sport
Celebrity crossover is no longer unusual in Formula 1. The championship’s recent expansion in the United States alongside a broader surge in mainstream visibility has drawn musicians, actors and athletes into the paddock with increasing regularity.

Lawson pointed to how quickly similar rumours have spread in the past, referencing speculation that once linked Fernando Alonso with Taylor Swift.
“Even that got so much traction, to the point where the commentators were putting one-liners into commentary!” he said.
For now, there has been no confirmation from either Hamilton or Kardashian. If Hamilton’s brief response in Bahrain is any indication, he intends to keep his private life out of the spotlight regardless of how much attention the rumours generate.
