Cowboys player found dead after police chase in Texas
A night of tension ended in tragedy in Texas. Dallas Cowboys defender Marshawn Kneeland was found dead hours after a police pursuit.

Tragedy in Texas
According to local authorities, the incident took place on Wednesday night (Nov. 5). Kneeland reportedly refused to stop his vehicle when ordered to do so by officers, triggering a high-speed chase.
After several minutes, police lost sight of the car, which was later found crashed on the side of the road. Witnesses said the player had fled the scene on foot.

A short time later, Kneeland’s body was discovered nearby. He had suffered a gunshot wound.

Local media and police confirmed that the leading hypothesis is that the athlete took his own life. The investigation remains open, but officials have not found evidence of third-party involvement.
Kneeland, 23, played as a defensive lineman for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. His death came less than a year after making his professional debut with the team.
