Endrick is staying in Madrid, his agency insists as Milan plot a January loan

Roc Nation’s Alan Redmond has knocked back the growing talk of a January move to AC Milan or Roma for Endrick, saying the Real Madrid forward has never wanted to…

The denial comes from the man who runs the agency representing the 20-year-old Brazilian. Alan Redmond, Vice President Executive and Global Head of Football at Roc Nation Sports International, spoke to Italian news agency Adnkronos in an interview published on 10 October 2026.

Asked directly about reports linking Endrick with the two Serie A clubs, Redmond was unambiguous.

“I don’t think he’ll move. The clubs mentioned are fantastic, but I don’t think he’ll go to play elsewhere.”

Redmond framed the player’s position as consistent from the start. He said Endrick had always wanted to stay at Real Madrid, and that he was convinced the Brazilian would score plenty of goals when his chance came this season.

‘The target was never to leave Spain’

Interest from outside Madrid is not new. Redmond acknowledged that several clubs circled the forward in the summer, but insisted none of it changed what Endrick wanted.

“I can confirm that in the summer there was a lot of interest in him, from several countries, but his target was never to leave Spain.”

The context behind the Serie A links is Endrick’s playing time. He has logged just four minutes in LaLiga this season under head coach Jose Mourinho, having returned to the Spanish capital after a loan at Lyon in the second half of last season. The lack of minutes has prompted suggestions that he may need to go out again in January to protect his place in Brazil’s squad.

Milan push for a January loan

The reports Redmond was asked about come primarily from La Gazzetta dello Sport, which has described Milan as preparing a move for a January loan. Roma, under Gian Piero Gasperini, are reportedly in the same conversation.

A clean six-month loan is the simplest version of the deal. More complex structures, including a loan with a buy-back clause along the lines of the Brahim Diaz arrangement, have also been floated in the Italian press.

One reason Milan have been pushed as the frontrunners is the relationship between Roc Nation and the club’s ownership. Milan owner Gerry Cardinale has long-standing ties to the agency, which also represents Vinicius Jr, Gabriel Martinelli and Lucas Paqueta.

Redmond did not address Cardinale by name. He simply said Endrick’s own plan had not changed.

“Honestly, I think he’ll stay at Real Madrid for a long time.”

Nothing has been agreed. Any January move would require Real Madrid to sanction another loan, and the Serie A window opens on 2 January 2027.
