• Acquire written support from five FIFA member associations.

• Ensure that each member association only backs one candidate.

Prove they have “played an active role in association football” for at least two of the five years preceding their presidential candidacy. This active role can be within a member association or a FIFA committee.

Once a nomination is submitted, candidates are subjected to mandatory integrity and ineligibility checks. These crucial evaluations are carried out by the independent FIFA Review Committee. Only after approval from this committee are the presidential candidates officially announced by FIFA.
