Kylian Mbappé’s 100th goal for Real Madrid landed in the 87th minute of a Clásico. Eduardo Camavinga picked out his run on a late counter-attack and the France forward beat Joan García to settle a 2-1 win at Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday.
The finish was Mbappé’s second of the night. He had opened the scoring in the 41st minute before Raphinha equalised for Barcelona just after the hour. ESPN reported the brace lifted José Mourinho’s side to within three points of Barcelona at the top of La Liga and ended the Catalans’ unbeaten start to 2026-27.
Fifth-fastest in the club’s history
The milestone came in Mbappé’s 116th appearance. That places him fifth on Real Madrid’s all-time list of fastest to 100 goals, according to Yahoo Sports and Football Muse. The four seats above him read like a Bernabéu wall of fame.
- Ferenc Puskás, 100 appearances
- Cristiano Ronaldo, 105 appearances
- Alfredo Di Stéfano, 114 appearances
- Pahiño, 114 appearances
- Kylian Mbappé, 116 appearances
Ronaldo is the modern benchmark. A Sports Illustrated comparison has the Portuguese scoring one goal every 88 minutes on the way to his first 100, versus one every 95 for Mbappé. Ronaldo also had 31 assists in that same window, against Mbappé’s 15, and he reached the mark at 26. Mbappé is 27.

Where the 100 came from
The spread leans on the two competitions that define a Real Madrid forward’s season.
- La Liga: 67
- Champions League: 25
- Copa del Rey: 4
- FIFA Club World Cup: 2
- UEFA Super Cup: 1
- Spanish Super Cup: 1
The France captain joined from Paris Saint-Germain in 2024 and has scored at a steady clip ever since, with the Camp Nou double his latest two in Real Madrid colours.
Mbappé plays down the milestone
Speaking to Real Madrid TV afterwards, Mbappé said the moment belonged to the team.
“I think today it’s just a detail, because the most important thing is the team’s win,” he told the club channel, according to Yahoo Sports.

He also credited the depth around him.
“When you see the players we have here, anyone who says there isn’t quality is a liar,” he told Livescore.
Ronaldo’s 450 is still the ceiling
Ronaldo finished his Real Madrid career with 450 goals in 438 appearances, a record Mbappé is 350 strikes short of. Puskás, meanwhile, still holds the fastest-century mark more than six decades after he set it.
