Major Problems for Real Madrid: Injury Crisis Worsens

Real Madrid’s defensive woes continue, with yet another full-back potentially sidelined. The latest concern is left-back Fran García, who finished Saturday’s match against Villarreal exhausted and required medical attention. While this initially appeared to be a general fatigue issue affecting multiple players, reports now suggest García is experiencing muscle discomfort, making him a doubt for Madrid’s next match against Leganés on March 29.

Ancelotti Running Out of Defensive Options

With García’s availability uncertain, Real Madrid find themselves in a precarious position. Ferland Mendy remains out injured, while Dani Carvajal is also sidelined for the long term. This leaves Lucas Vázquez as the club’s only fully fit natural full-back, forcing Carlo Ancelotti to make yet another tactical adjustment.

Given the nature of García’s reported injury, a muscle strain appears likely. Typically, such issues require about a week of recovery, meaning he could return in time for the Leganés fixture. However, with no official confirmation on his condition, Madrid’s coaching staff must prepare contingency plans.
