Brazilian winger Raphinha has made his intentions clear: he wants to remain at FC Barcelona, rebuffing the prospect of lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs.
Despite Barcelona‘s ongoing financial considerations, the 29-year-old is determined to continue his career at Spotify Camp Nou, according to reports from Marca.
Clubs in Saudi Arabia are reportedly preparing significant bids for Raphinha, with some estimates suggesting offers could reach around €90 million for Barcelona.
Furthermore, these clubs are prepared to present the player with an “irresistible” salary package, far exceeding his current earnings in Catalonia.

Valued at Spotify Camp Nou
Raphinha, who renewed his contract with Barcelona a year ago in May 2025, feels deeply valued by the club.
He is considered an important figure by coach Hansi Flick, enjoys strong support within the locker room, and is celebrated by the Barcelona faithful.
This sense of belonging is a key factor in his decision to resist the financial temptations from the Middle East.

Barcelona is aware of Raphinha’s strong desire to stay but is awaiting a concrete offer from Saudi Arabia before fully analyzing the situation.
While the club acknowledges the need to transfer players to generate funds, Raphinha is not among the primary candidates earmarked for sale.
Flick’s plans and on-field impact
New Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is understood to be counting on Raphinha as an integral part of his plans.
The German tactician views the winger as an undisputed starter and an important leader within the squad. His commitment and work ethic have not gone unnoticed.

“Rapha is one of those players who always gives one hundred percent on the field and in training. His attitude is always the same: he gives his all. This season he has suffered, but for us it is important that he is back,” Flick commented previously, highlighting Raphinha’s dedication.
Despite missing 23 matches this season due to intermittent injuries affecting both club and country, Raphinha has demonstrated his quality when fit. This season, he has participated in 31 matches, contributing significantly with 19 goals and 8 assists
Overall, Raphinha has featured in 175 matches for Barcelona, cementing his place as a key figure since his arrival.
His consistent performances and commitment underscore why both the club and player are keen on continuing their partnership, despite external interest.
