Real Madrid tracking Arsenal wonderkids ahead of summer window
Arsenal’s strong season has been driven by senior stars, but two academy prospects are also drawing attention.
Interest is now building from one of Europe’s biggest clubs as the summer transfer window approaches.
According to TEAMtalk, Real Madrid are closely tracking Arsenal youngsters Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman as the Spanish giants continue their search for elite young talent.
Arsenal currently lead the Premier League and remain active on several fronts. Mikel Arteta’s side also reached the Carabao Cup final and secured a favourable Champions League knockout draw.
Alongside those results, Arteta has continued to introduce youth prospects into the senior squad. That pathway has helped elevate two of the club’s most promising teenagers into the spotlight.

The exposure has not gone unnoticed across Europe, with Real Madrid reportedly among the clubs studying their progress.
Teenage talent rising
Nwaneri, now 18, made early appearances this season across multiple positions, including right wing and central midfield.
In January he moved to Marseille on loan for the remainder of the campaign. The England youth international scored on his debut and has since made several additional appearances for the French club.
His development has come during a turbulent period at Marseille following the dismissal of Roberto De Zerbi, but his potential remains clear.

According to TEAMtalk, Real Madrid have placed him on their list of potential young recruits as the club continues to invest in emerging English talent after the success of Jude Bellingham.
Madrid keeping watch
Arsenal have also given minutes to 16 year old Max Dowman, another highly regarded academy player.
Earlier this season he became the youngest player to represent the club in the Champions League.
Dowman operates in a similar attacking role to Nwaneri and has impressed despite playing above his age group. However, an ankle injury has limited his recent involvement.

Arsenal’s balancing act
Arsenal’s current focus is on winning trophies now, but the club’s long term ambitions rely heavily on retaining emerging stars.
Interest from Real Madrid is widely seen as recognition of the young players’ potential.
Keeping talents such as Nwaneri and Dowman could prove crucial if the north London side want sustained success in both domestic and European competitions.
