The greatest talent in tennis revealed his thoughts on retirement.
At only 21 years old, the Spanish prodigy has already won four Grand Slam titles. But he is far from finishing.
In a conversation with YouTuber Daniel Fernandez, Alcaraz was asked when he could imagine hanging up the racket. After mentioning several different years, he set 2037 as the year he imagines saying goodbye to the sport.
“The greatest players play for a long time. I want to reach the top and still be competing when I am 35 years old,” he explained, according to the Mirror.

Dreams of Ending with a Wimbledon Title
In addition to mentioning the year of his retirement, Alcaraz also revealed where he would like to end his career. Without hesitation, he pointed to Wimbledon as the stage for his last match.
The iconic tournament, which has already been the scene of some of Alcaraz’s greatest moments, seems to be the perfect place for his farewell to the sport.
Although the conversation with Fernandez had a humorous tone, Alcaraz also spoke about his main goal for next year. He still has much to achieve, including a victory at the Australian Open, the only Grand Slam title he has yet to win.
