The new Championship season promises drama at both ends of the table, with several clubs chasing promotion and others battling to avoid the drop. Based on squad strength, transfers, and last season’s form, here is the full predicted table – ranked from 24th to 1st – along with projected points for each team.

24. Sheffield United – 5 Points

After a historically poor campaign last year, Sheffield United have not done enough in the transfer window to inspire confidence. Back-to-back relegations could sadly be on the cards.

23. Sheffield Wednesday – 32 Points

Wednesday look set for another season of struggle with one of the weakest attacks in the league. They will need a miracle run of results to climb out of the bottom three.

Derby’s young squad may fight bravely but will likely fall short in a very competitive league. Their home record must improve if they are to survive.
