Journalist Confirms: Roglič’s Future is Settled
Primož Roglič is set to continue with Red Bull – Bora-Hansgrohe beyond 2025, despite the lack of an official announcement. According to sources cited by journalist Daniel Benson, the Slovenian star will remain with the German team in 2026.
Contract Details Remain Unclear
Roglič initially signed what was widely reported as a two-year contract when he joined Bora-Hansgrohe in late 2023. However, it is not yet confirmed whether he has extended his deal or exercised a clause in his existing contract.
At the time of his high-profile departure from Jumbo-Visma (now Visma-Lease a Bike), Roglič secured a significant salary increase. Reports suggested he was earning €2.9 million annually at Visma, whereas at Bora-Hansgrohe, his salary is estimated to be between €4.5 and €5.5 million per year. Additionally, Bora-Hansgrohe allegedly paid around €3 million to buy him out of his contract with the Dutch team.
