Andy Robertson, who has formed a dynamic duo with Alexander-Arnold on each flank for years, sent an emotional message on Instagram on May 5.

“Brother for life!! We’ve been through it all together! I’m going to miss you, legend,” Robertson wrote.
The farewell to Alexander-Arnold marks the beginning of a larger overhaul in Liverpool’s defense, where manager Arne Slot now has to find a new right-back for next season.
This comes after a successful debut season for Slot, who led Liverpool to the Premier League title in his first season.
According to Football Insider, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong is at the top of the wishlist for replacing Alexander-Arnold.

The club is also considering the future at left-back.
Although Robertson is staying for now, his form has been inconsistent, and at 31, he is approaching the twilight of his career.
