FIFA has released its list of the world’s top 10 football players, based on votes from fellow players, coaches, and journalists. Here are the best players in the world according to FIFA’s The Best Awards.

German midfielder Florian Wirtz from Bayer 04 Leverkusen scored eight points, just enough to secure the 10th spot on the list.
Kylian Mbappé – No. 9

French superstar Kylian Mbappé, who transferred from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid, earned 14 points. Often touted as a potential Ballon d’Or winner, 2024 was not his strongest year, placing him in 9th.
German midfield maestro Toni Kroos ends his illustrious career on a high note, securing 7th place. Known for consistently performing at the highest level for Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and the German national team, this recognition highlights his remarkable career.
Lionel Messi – No. 6

Despite moving to Inter Miami, Lionel Messi continues to shine. With 25 points, the Argentine legend secures his place among the world’s best players, proving age is no barrier to greatness.
Lamine Yamal – No. 5

Daniel Carvajal – No. 4

With 37 points, young English midfielder Jude Bellingham from Real Madrid claims the 3rd spot. Bellingham had an extraordinary season, establishing himself as one of the world’s top midfielders.
Rodri – No. 2
