Not a single non-Bayern player breaks into the ten best-paid names in the German top flight this season. Every position from first to tenth on the league-wide salary ranking is filled by a Bayern Munich contract, and the first rival club only shows up at the €10m-a-year mark.

Kane and Musiala sit joint top on €480,000 a week, or €25m in base salary. Joshua Kimmich is third on €385,000 (€20m), with Manuel Neuer and Alphonso Davies tied for fourth on €288,000 (€15m). Colombia forward Luis Díaz and France winger Michael Olise fill sixth and seventh at €270,000 and €259,000 respectively.

The Bayern block then rolls on through the rest of the top 10: centre-backs Jonathan Tah and Kim Min-jae both above €230,000 a week, before João Palhinha closes out the top 10 on €190,000.

Where the rival clubs finally appear

The first non-Bayern names arrive at the €10m-a-year tier: Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick, Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck and Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, each listed at €192,300 a week. Serhou Guirassy, Dortmund’s leading scorer, follows on €173,000 a week (€9m), level with Bayern’s own Konrad Laimer.

That is a full league behind the leader. Dortmund’s best-paid outfield players earn roughly the same as Bayern’s tenth-choice midfielder, and their top wage is around 64 per cent below what Kane and Musiala pull down.

Bayern’s payroll dwarfs the field

The individual leaderboard is the tidy version of a much wider gap on club totals. Bayern’s 2026-27 fixed wage bill comes to €238.2m, more than double Dortmund’s €112.9m.

Bayer Leverkusen sit third at €104.4m, and RB Leipzig fourth at €79.2m, a figure Bayern out-spend by a factor of three. Fifth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt weigh in at €69.2m, where top earners Jonathan Burkardt and Robin Koch collect €5m a year, a fifth of what Kane and Musiala each take home.

Bayern’s answer to a Bundesliga that has flirted with new title challengers in recent seasons has been to stack the wage sheet at every position. Not just two headline stars, but eight more players on packages no other German club can match anywhere in the squad.
