According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Jules Koundé has emerged as a potential sale candidate as the club balances squad stability against ongoing financial strain. The France international remains a regular presence in the team, but his long-term status is no longer guaranteed.

“No decision has been made, but the situation has clearly changed. Koundé is no longer untouchable, and the club is willing to listen to offers. Everything will depend on how the season ends and whether the player manages to change the current perception with convincing performances.”

The outlet added:

“Summer presents itself as a turning point. If an offer close to €80 million arrives, Barcelona will have to seriously consider whether to prioritise keeping a defender who has raised doubts or seize the opportunity to cash in and redefine their project.”
