Here is Lewandowskis’ future
Barcelona’s offer and the terms of a new deal
According to the article by Artur Karaszewski published by WP SportoweFakty, as well as information reported by the newspaper “Sport”, Robert Lewandowski’s future has still not been decided. The current contract of the Poland captain with FC Barcelona runs until the end of the ongoing season, and the striker himself, as he said earlier in an interview with The Athletic, does not want to rush his decision.
The club is reportedly preparing to offer him a one year extension, but the new contract would involve a significant pay cut, possibly close to half of his current salary, while also including bonuses tied to appearances and goals.
There is also no shortage of speculation surrounding the 37 year old striker and his possible next destination. Media reports have mentioned both the United States and Saudi Arabia, while in Europe clubs such as Juventus, Milan and Fenerbahce have also been named. At this stage, however, the main point is that Barcelona are still considering keeping Lewandowski, although under new sporting and financial terms.
His role in the team matters more than other offers
According to “Sport”, the most important moment before any decision is made will be Lewandowski’s conversation with Hansi Flick. That discussion is expected to clarify how the coach sees the Pole’s role next season and whether he still plans to build part of the attack around the experienced striker. From the player’s point of view, the issue is not only the length of the contract or the level of his salary, but above all whether he will continue to feel needed and genuinely valued within the team.

Spanish media, according to reports cited by WP SportoweFakty, have also said that Lewandowski already has other offers on the table, including proposals for two year contracts. Even so, the sporting project is said to remain the most important factor for him. Although he has played less this season than before, he has still produced solid numbers, scoring 16 goals so far. That leaves his situation open, and means the final decision will not come down to money alone.
Barcelona is reshaping its attack for next season
As reported by WP SportoweFakty and “Sport”, Barcelona expect Lewandowski’s future to become clearer toward the end of April or at the beginning of May. The decision may also depend on how the club wants to shape its attacking line for next season. Media reports have linked Barcelona with an interest in Julián Álvarez, which could change the balance in attack.
If Barcelona were to sign a new central striker, keeping three players in that role would seem unlikely. Such a scenario would matter not only for Lewandowski, but also for Ferran Torres. That is why the coming weeks could prove decisive not only for the Pole’s future, but also for the overall shape of Barcelona’s forward line next season.
