While his estimated gross fixed salary for the upcoming 2026-2027 season is €25,000,000 annually, or €480,769 per week, according to Capology, his purported base salary demands are around £410,000-a-week, potentially rising to £615,000-a-week with bonuses.

The financial tightrope for Arsenal

Such figures present a considerable financial challenge for Arsenal. The club’s current highest earner is Bukayo Saka, 24, on £300,000 a week, with his contract running for another four years. Vinicius Junior’s potential wages would dwarf Saka’s, significantly altering Arsenal’s wage structure. Real Madrid, meanwhile, would likely demand a minimum of £150 million in compensation for their star attacker, even with his contract winding down.

Arsenal’s estimated gross fixed salaries for the 2026-2027 season stand at £191,100,000 annually, or £3,675,000 per week, excluding bonuses, as reported by Capology. Bringing in a player of Vinicius Junior’s calibre and cost would require substantial outgoings.
