Alexandra Leclerc shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday with a close-up of the baby’s feet in a pink knitted outfit and matching booties. The caption was as short as it gets: “Bianca 🤍 3.11.26”.
Charles Leclerc, 29, left Mexico City after Sunday’s Grand Prix, where he finished fourth, and travelled back to Monaco in time for the birth of his daughter on Tuesday, according to PlanetF1.
Beganovic in the Ferrari for FP1
The timing has pulled Leclerc away from the start of the São Paulo Grand Prix weekend. He missed Thursday’s media day at Interlagos and was travelling to Brazil later the same day, Ferrari confirmed.
Reserve driver Dino Beganovic will take the car for the opening practice session on Friday. That seat had already been earmarked for him under Formula 1’s mandatory rookie running rules, so the swap is not a late reshuffle. Leclerc is expected back in the cockpit for second practice.

Sainz among the first to congratulate
Congratulations landed quickly from inside the paddock. Former Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz wrote on Instagram: “So happy for you 😊 Welcome to the world Bianca.”
The F1 Academy account joined in with a message suggesting Bianca could one day appear on the grid herself, Today.com reported.
Leclerc and Alexandra married in a civil ceremony in Monte Carlo in February, having become engaged in November 2025. The couple announced they were expecting in August.
A possible nod to Jules Bianchi
Jules Bianchi, Leclerc’s godfather, died in July 2015 from injuries sustained in a crash at the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix. PlanetF1 noted that some fans read the name Bianca as a tribute to Bianchi, though neither Charles nor Alexandra Leclerc has confirmed that reading.
