Conor Bradley to miss rest of season after knee surgery confirmed

Liverpool have confirmed that Conor Bradley will not return before the end of the season after medical assessments determined he requires surgery on a knee injury, limiting the club’s defensive options during the final stretch of the campaign.

The right back was injured in recent action, prompting concerns over the severity of the issue. Subsequent examinations have now clarified the diagnosis and the likely recovery process.

In an update issued by the club, Liverpool said scans showed no rupture of Bradley’s anterior cruciate ligament. Tests did, however, reveal multiple injuries to his left knee, including damage affecting both bone and ligaments, making surgery unavoidable.

The 20-year-old will undergo the procedure in the coming days and has been ruled out for the remainder of the season. Liverpool have not set a specific timetable for his return, noting only that his rehabilitation will extend beyond the current campaign.

Bradley has played a valuable role this season, stepping in at right back during a demanding fixture schedule and gaining regular first-team experience. His absence reduces Liverpool’s depth in defence as matches continue to arrive in quick succession.

Supporters and teammates have shared messages of encouragement following the announcement. The club is expected to manage Bradley’s recovery carefully, with a clearer picture of his availability emerging once rehabilitation progresses.
