Beijmo’s contract is due to expire, and while AGF had expressed a desire to retain him, the player has opted to seek new challenges.

AGF’s football director, Carsten V. Jensen, confirmed the club’s position in a statement, acknowledging Beijmo’s significant contributions.

“We would have liked to see Felix continue and have naturally acted accordingly,” Jensen stated. “But Felix has wished to seek new challenges, and we now send him off with wishes for all the best and with thanks for a good time at AGF, where Felix has been a pioneer in the squad and always guaranteed great professionalism and a strong winning mentality on the pitch.”

Beijmo joined AGF in January 2023, initially on a loan deal from Swedish club Malmö. This move was later made permanent, and he went on to play 120 matches for the Danish side over three and a half years.

His final season culminated in the ultimate success, with AGF lifting the Danish Superliga trophy and a ticket to Champions League Qualification
