Liverpool agree terms with young defender
Liverpool’s academy recruitment continues to expand beyond Europe, with club scouts identifying defensive prospects capable of developing through the youth system over the coming seasons.
One such player is Mor Ndiaye, a Senegalese centre-back who emerged as a notable performer at last year’s Under-17 World Cup in Qatar, where he featured regularly during the tournament.
GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano reports that Liverpool have now reached a verbal agreement over Ndiaye’s signing, with formal steps still required before the move is completed.
The teenager’s performances in Qatar attracted attention for his physical presence and decision-making against high-level opposition, prompting interest from several clubs monitoring the youth international circuit.

Ndiaye’s expected arrival follows another recent youth addition, with Liverpool completing the signing of Ifeane Ndukwe from Austrian side Wien last week, according to GIVEMESPORT.
Both moves underline Liverpool’s continued investment in early-stage recruitment, targeting players before they reach the senior transfer market rather than relying solely on established professionals.
