Marcus Rashford has made a decision that’s making headlines in both England and Spain.
He has rejected a permanent move to Aston Villa and is reportedly ready to take a pay cut to fulfill a dream: playing for FC Barcelona.
The England international is currently on loan from Manchester United to Villa, where he has rediscovered his form with four goals and five assists in 17 appearances.
But despite a solid run under Unai Emery, Rashford does not see his long-term future in Birmingham.

Willing to Sacrifice Salary for His Dream
According to The Mirror, Aston Villa has the option to sign Rashford permanently for around £40 million.
But the forward has said no.
Instead, Rashford is eyeing a move to La Liga, and he is reportedly willing to accept a significant wage reduction to make the transfer possible.

Rashford currently earns around £350,000 per week but knows his time at Manchester United is running out as long as Ruben Amorim is in charge.
He is now betting on a fresh start in Barcelona.
That said, the club is still struggling with La Liga’s strict financial fair play rules.
Barcelona has previously had issues registering new players like Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, and the league is currently investigating whether the sale of VIP lounges at the new Camp Nou — reportedly worth €100 million — complies with the regulations.
Rashford is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and missed Villa’s 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semi-final.
It remains uncertain whether he’ll return before the end of the season.

But one thing is clear:
Rashford isn’t looking back — he’s looking toward Camp Nou. Whether that dream becomes reality now depends on whether Barcelona can make the finances work.
