Premier League suspensions tracker: Who’s out, who’s close (2025/26)
The 2025/26 Premier League season is delivering fireworks on the pitch—and plenty of drama off it too, as suspensions mount across the league. With yellow and red cards stacking up, clubs are starting to feel the strain of player bans. Here’s a club-by-club breakdown of who’s suspended, who’s already served time, and who’s just one booking away from missing key matches.
Wolves keeping discipline tight despite early red

Wolverhampton Wanderers have managed to keep things fairly tidy on the disciplinary front since Toti Gomes was dismissed early in the season against Bournemouth. Matt Doherty and Joao Gomes remain the only players edging toward suspension, both sitting on three yellow cards.
West Ham feel the loss of Soucek

Tomas Soucek’s red card for serious foul play has cost West Ham a key midfield figure for three games. Meanwhile, Max Kilman, Lucas Paqueta and Crysencio Summerville are each on three bookings, walking a fine line as the fixtures come thick and fast.
Tottenham’s Romero treads a fine line

Cristian Romero is the main concern for Spurs, with three yellow cards to his name already. Richarlison may have three bookings overall, but just one has come in the league, meaning he’s not yet a major suspension threat.

Sunderland back in the top flight and in the firing line

Reinildo’s red card for violent conduct earned him a three-match ban—the first of Sunderland’s return season. Granit Xhaka and Noah Sadiki both sit on three yellows and could soon be unavailable if their cautions continue.
Forest's frustration extends to the dugout

Nottingham Forest have been chaotic both on and off the pitch, with two managerial changes already. On the player front, Neco Williams is one booking away from a ban with four yellows, and Morato isn’t far behind with three.
Newcastle’s aggressive edge draws cards

Anthony Gordon’s straight red for serious foul play means he’s already served a three-match ban, reflecting the combative nature of Newcastle’s approach. Dan Burn is another name to watch, having picked up three yellows so far.
Manchester United: Casemiro’s double trouble

Casemiro has already served a one-game ban after a second yellow against Chelsea—and with three league bookings, he's perilously close to another suspension. Patrick Dorgu is in the same boat, with three cards and rising pressure.

Manchester City stay squeaky clean

It’s all clear for Manchester City on the disciplinary side of things. No suspensions, no red cards, and not a single player currently at risk—Guardiola’s side are keeping it professional on all fronts.
Liverpool stay sharp but not spotless

Liverpool’s only red card came in a cup tie when Hugo Ekitike was sent off and missed the following league match. Conor Bradley and Milos Kerkez both have three yellow cards and are edging toward the danger zone.
Leeds United flying under the radar

Daniel Farke’s Leeds United have impressed so far—and they've done it without a single suspension. With no players currently nearing the yellow card limit, it's smooth sailing for now at Elland Road.
Fulham disciplined under Silva

Fulham's only real concern is Sasa Lukic, who has been booked four times and is one away from a ban. The rest of Marco Silva’s team has kept their discipline intact, despite the competitive edge they bring to every match.

Everton midfield headaches begin

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall already missed a game through suspension after picking up five yellows. James Garner (4) and Tim Iroegbunam (3) are close behind, putting David Moyes in a tight spot for upcoming selections.
Crystal Palace walking the line

No red cards yet for Palace, but Will Hughes and Daniel Munoz are both on three yellows. With Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell on two each, Roy Hodgson will be wary of losing key players in the weeks ahead.
Chelsea stacking up the reds

Three Chelsea players have already been sent off—Robert Sanchez, Trevoh Chalobah, and Malo Gusto—each serving or having served one-match bans. No current yellow card concerns, but Enzo Maresca’s side need to clean things up.
Burnley battling hard but bruised by bookings

Lesley Ugochukwu’s double-yellow dismissal saw him miss a game after the Liverpool clash. Jaidon Anthony is the next in line with three bookings, potentially leaving Burnley short if he’s cautioned again soon.

Brighton quartet nearing the edge

Lewis Dunk, Mats Wieffer, Carlos Baleba and Ferdi Kadioglu have all picked up three yellow cards. Brighton haven’t had a suspension yet, but they’re hovering close to the threshold now.
Brentford’s new era off to a cautious start

Brentford’s rebuild under Keith Andrews includes a strong disciplinary record. Still, Nathan Collins, Kevin Schade and Igor Thiago have each received three yellow cards and will need to be careful moving forward.
Bournemouth’s yellow warning signs

Tyler Adams is on the brink of a suspension with four yellow cards, while three others—Alex Jimenez, Marcos Senesi and David Brooks—have three each. Bournemouth will need to keep their tempers in check.
Aston Villa bounce back, but Konsa banned

Ezri Konsa has already served a one-match suspension for denying a goal-scoring opportunity against Newcastle. Fortunately for Unai Emery, no other Villa players are near the yellow card limit.
