Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis was the victim of a private video leak orchestrated by an Eastern European hacking group, his mother, Beth Levis, revealed on Monday. The intimate content, featuring Levis and his ex-partner Gia Duddy, was stolen from his personal devices during his college years.

Speaking on the Ross Tucker podcast, Beth Levis detailed the extensive and costly efforts made to combat the breach. The incident, which occurred a year or two before Levis was drafted into the NFL, involved a sex tape that was subsequently circulated against his wishes.

“Will actually ended up hiring a cybersecurity specialist and private investigator and spent an exorbitant amount of money to try to get to the bottom of this, and through that, try to scrape what they could to make this go away,” Beth Levis explained, as reported by Yahoo! Entertainment. “Ultimately, a lot of the content was taken down, but you know, you can never scrape anything entirely from the internet. It’s there forever. There is a footprint, unfortunately.”

The source of the breach

The investigation into the leak uncovered that the content was stolen directly from Levis’s private laptop, digital platform, or phone. The perpetrators were identified as an Eastern European hacking group known for targeting “attractive couples” to gain attention through exposure.

“We did find out, actually, that the content was stolen, and that his private laptop, or digital platform, phone, whatever, was actually breached and invaded a year or two earlier, when he was in college,” Beth Levis stated. “We came to find out that this was an Eastern European hacking group that is notorious for trying to target what they think might be an attractive couple that they can then expose and do what they do for attention. So… we knew where it came from; it wasn’t something malicious from somebody else.”

While a significant portion of the stolen content has been removed from the internet, the nature of digital dissemination means it cannot be entirely erased. However, Yahoo! Entertainment notes that the tape has not appeared on any major platforms.

Levis’s NFL journey amid personal challenges

The revelation adds a personal dimension to Levis’s burgeoning NFL career. A second-round pick from the University of Kentucky in the 2023 NFL Draft, Levis quickly rose to prominence with the Tennessee Titans. He became the team’s starting quarterback by the end of 2023 after Ryan Tannehill sustained an injury, retaining the position in 2024 following Tannehill’s departure.

The 2024 season saw Levis start 12 of Tennessee’s games in a challenging 3-14 campaign, with the team finishing bottom of the AFC South. He led the league in lost fumbles and threw one more touchdown than interceptions. Levis spent the 2025 season on the sidelines after undergoing shoulder surgery, a year in which the Titans used their first pick in the draft to select a new quarterback. This public profile has made the privacy breach particularly sensitive for the young athlete.
