According to Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson’s report on ScoopB.com, the framework would see Miami acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks and Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers. The deal, as described, would give the Heat a frontcourt built around Bam Adebayo, Antetokounmpo and a healthy Leonard, a defensive group with the profile of an immediate championship contender.
The proposed trade framework
Under the suggested structure, Miami would land both Antetokounmpo and Leonard while keeping Adebayo and Norman Powell out of the outgoing package.
The Clippers would receive Andrew Wiggins, Nikola Jovic and Miami’s unprotected 2031 first-round pick. For Los Angeles, the appeal would be flexibility, a younger rotation piece and a future draft asset as the franchise reassesses its direction.
Milwaukee’s return would be centered on a broader reset. The Bucks would acquire Tyler Herro, Davion Mitchell, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kel’el Ware, Miami’s No. 13 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and a 2029 first-round pick. Such a package would signal a clear move toward rebuilding around younger players and draft capital.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s reported interest in Miami
A major element behind the speculation is Antetokounmpo’s reported interest in South Florida. Robinson said on Fox Sports Radio’s The Odd Couple with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington that the information he had received pointed to a clear preference from the former MVP: Miami.
He also reported that Antetokounmpo would be prepared to sign an extension with the Heat if a trade were completed. That detail, if accurate, would be crucial. Miami would not merely be acquiring a superstar for the short term, but potentially securing the foundation of its next era.
What Kawhi Leonard would add
Leonard’s inclusion would make the proposal even more dramatic. When healthy, he remains one of the league’s most accomplished two-way players, with championship experience and a proven playoff résumé.
A move to Miami would also reunite him with Norman Powell, his former Toronto Raptors teammate from the 2019 championship season. Under Erik Spoelstra, Leonard would give the Heat another elite defender and late-game scorer, provided his health allowed him to stay on the floor consistently.

The hurdles facing a megadeal
For all its appeal, a trade of this scale would be difficult to execute. Three-team deals involving multiple max-level stars are complicated under the NBA’s current collective bargaining agreement, particularly when salary matching, tax restrictions and draft-pick rules are involved.
There is also the question of whether Milwaukee would truly be prepared to move Antetokounmpo. The Bucks would need to decide that a full rebuild offers more value than continuing to build around one of the best players in franchise history.
Previous speculation has linked Antetokounmpo to other teams, including reported discussions involving the Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers. But the Heat’s long-standing search for a franchise-changing star makes this scenario especially notable.
If such a deal ever moved beyond the conceptual stage, it would represent one of the boldest moves of the modern NBA era. For now, it remains an ambitious framework, one that reflects both Miami’s appetite for stars and the league-wide uncertainty surrounding the future of Milwaukee’s franchise player.
