Tom Brady has opened the door to a surprise appearance in WWE, directly calling on company president Nick Khan to arrange a storyline for him.
The retired quarterback discussed the possibility during a live edition of Cody Rhodes’ podcast, What Do You Wanna Talk About?, at Fanatics Fest in New York.
“I think I could get in there for at least one match, right?” Brady said during the WWE and Fanatics production. “Come on Nick, make it happen.”
Brady waits for an invitation
Brady said he had been waiting for Khan to find a way to involve him in WWE programming.

The 48-year-old explained that retirement had given him an opportunity to test himself outside football and demonstrate that he remained capable of performing athletically.
According to Fightful, Brady pointed to former New England Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski and Logan Paul as examples of athletes and celebrities who have successfully crossed into WWE.
Rhodes responded by telling Brady that the invitation was open, although WWE has not announced a match, storyline or appearance involving the former quarterback.
Gronkowski already made the leap
Gronkowski appeared at several WWE events after his NFL career and became closely associated with the company during WrestleMania 36 in 2020.

He captured the WWE 24/7 Championship during the event before losing the title to R-Truth later that year. Gronkowski’s involvement gives Brady a personal connection to the wrestling business beyond his conversation with Rhodes.
Logan Paul has taken the crossover much further. The social media personality and boxer has become a regular WWE performer, competing at WrestleMania and holding the United States Championship.
Brady suggested that their experiences had convinced him a one-match run was realistic.
Las Vegas offers a natural setting
Brady also has a direct connection to one of WWE’s most important recent venues through his minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.

The team’s home, Allegiant Stadium, staged WrestleMania 41 in 2025 and WrestleMania 42 in April 2026. The original article’s claim that the venue hosted the two most recent editions is therefore correct.
Brady had previously been linked with a possible appearance at WrestleMania 42, with eWrestlingNews reporting that informal discussions between his representatives and WWE had taken place. He did not appear at the event.
A future WWE role would not necessarily require Brady to compete in a traditional singles match. Celebrity appearances are often built around short physical sequences, tag-team contests or non-wrestling roles designed to limit risk.
WWE move remains only an idea
Brady’s remarks make his interest clear, but there is currently no confirmation that WWE intends to place him in a match.

Any appearance would require significant preparation, particularly for an athlete who retired from the NFL in 2023 after 23 seasons. Professional wrestling is carefully choreographed, but it still places considerable physical demands on its performers.
For WWE, however, Brady would represent one of the biggest celebrity recruits in company history. His status as a seven-time Super Bowl champion and one of the most recognisable athletes in the United States would guarantee attention well beyond wrestling’s usual audience.
The interest is there. Brady is now waiting to see whether Khan is prepared to make the call.
