13. Joe Willock

Midfielder Joe Willock earns £80,000 per week, bringing in around £4.16 million annually. At 26 years old, Willock is entering what should be his prime years, yet his role at Newcastle has fluctuated between starter and backup due to injuries and squad depth.

His current contract runs until June 2027, with two years left to prove his value or attract suitors elsewhere. Willock remains a mobile, box-to-box option who can arrive late in the area and finish, but consistency has been a challenge.

A fan favourite during his loan spell from Arsenal, his permanent move in 2021 was seen as a coup. However, the club’s evolution and strengthening midfield have made competition for places fierce.

Still, at £80,000 a week, he’s a reasonably priced squad player with top-flight experience and occasional goal-scoring bursts. If he can stay fit, he may still have a big part to play.

12. Harvey Barnes

Harvey Barnes also earns £80,000 a week, equating to just over £4.16 million per year. The winger joined Newcastle from Leicester City in 2023 and still has two years remaining on his deal, which expires in June 2028.

At 27, Barnes is a proven Premier League attacker. However, injuries and strong competition on the wings have limited his appearances over the past season.

When fit, he offers direct running, intelligent movement, and an eye for goal. He’s not always a guaranteed starter, but he brings impact off the bench and in cup competitions.

His wage reflects his pedigree and potential, though he may need a strong campaign to secure his long-term place under the current project.

11. Sven Botman

Dutch centre-back Sven Botman earns £90,000 weekly, amounting to around £4.68 million per season. Still only 25, Botman has become a regular starter and key figure in Newcastle’s back line.

Signed from Lille in 2022, his composure, strength, and positional awareness have made him a fan favourite. He’s under contract until June 2027, with two years left.

Botman is particularly strong in aerial duels and has improved his distribution over time. At £90,000 per week, his salary is modest for a first-choice Premier League centre-back with European ambitions.

There’s little doubt that Newcastle will want to tie him down longer — and potentially at higher wages — before rivals come sniffing.

Anthony Elanga joined Newcastle in July 2025 and earns £100,000 per week — a total of £5.2 million annually. The Swedish winger signed from Nottingham Forest after an impressive spell, and at just 23 years old, he’s seen as a player for both now and the future.

Known for his pace and work rate, Elanga brings width, pressing, and flair to the attack. He’s still developing, but Newcastle believe they’ve secured a valuable asset.

His current deal runs until June 2030, showing the club’s long-term commitment. The salary, while significant, is in line with what young attacking talent commands in the current market.

9. Kieran Trippier

Signed in 2022, Trippier was a marquee signing for the new ownership era. He brought leadership, set-piece threat, and defensive assurance. Though his minutes are now more carefully managed, his influence remains high.

With his deal set to expire in June 2026, the club will likely consider a transition plan, whether that’s renewal on reduced terms, or preparing a successor.

For now, his high wage reflects his enduring value on and off the pitch.

8. Jacob Ramsey

English midfielder Jacob Ramsey, signed in August 2025, also earns £120,000 per week. That brings his annual wage to £6.24 million, matching Trippier.

At 24, Ramsey is one of the most exciting box-to-box midfielders in the league. He combines energy, creativity, and end product — and Newcastle made a major statement by bringing him in.

His contract runs until June 2026, meaning this year could determine whether he earns an extension or attracts offers from elsewhere.

So far, he’s delivered solid performances and looks poised to play a bigger role as the season progresses.

7. Aaron Ramsdale

Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale also earns £120,000 per week. Signed in August 2025, his deal expires in June 2026 — giving him one year to prove his worth.

The former Arsenal shot-stopper arrived to increase competition between the posts after struggling for minutes in North London. At 27, he’s in his prime goalkeeping years.

Though not yet first choice, his talent is undisputed. Whether he becomes the long-term number one will depend on performances this season.

His wage reflects both his experience and the club’s willingness to invest in depth at key positions.

6. Nick Woltemade

German forward Nick Woltemade earns £132,500 per week, or £6.89 million annually. The 23-year-old joined Newcastle in August 2025 and is already seen as one of the most promising attacking additions.

Standing at 1.98m, he offers a unique blend of physicality and finesse. Despite his height, he’s technically gifted and capable of playing multiple forward roles.

His contract runs until June 2026, and the club will want to assess his adaptation to English football before considering a renewal.

At his age, and with that salary, the expectations are high, but so is the upside.

5. Yoane Wissa

Winger Yoane Wissa earns £140,000 per week — equating to £7.28 million per year. The Congolese international arrived in 2025 and has provided explosive pace and versatility in attack.

At 28, he brings experience and maturity to Newcastle’s wide options. Though he currently plays a reserve role, he often changes games off the bench.

Wissa is a high-impact player whose performances could earn him more minutes, especially in cup competitions or as a tactical wildcard.

4. Anthony Gordon

Anthony Gordon is one of Newcastle’s rising stars — and at £150,000 per week, among their top earners. His salary equates to £7.8 million annually.

Since arriving from Everton, Gordon has matured into a fast, relentless winger with an eye for goal. At just 24, he’s already played a major role in Newcastle’s European ambitions.

His contract runs until June 2030, making him one of the club’s long-term cornerstones. His salary reflects his growing status — and the interest he’s generated from rival clubs.

3. Sandro Tonali

Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali earns £150,000 weekly, equal to £7.8 million per year. After a turbulent start marked by suspension, Tonali is working to re-establish himself.

He brings technical precision, calm under pressure, and an elite passing range. At 25, he has years ahead to become a midfield leader.

His contract runs until 2028, and the club remains fully behind him. His salary reflects his calibre and the investment Newcastle made to secure his signature.

2. Joelinton

Brazilian midfielder Joelinton also earns £150,000 per week — matching Tonali and Gordon. Now 29, he has transitioned from misfiring striker to midfield powerhouse.

His relentless energy, ball-winning ability, and presence have made him a fan favourite. With a contract through to 2028, he remains a key figure in Eddie Howe’s plans.

His salary is a testament to his evolution — from struggling forward to indispensable midfield engine.

1. Bruno Guimarães

At the top of Newcastle’s payroll is Bruno Guimarães, who earns £160,000 per week, or £8.32 million annually. The Brazilian midfielder is the heartbeat of Newcastle’s modern project.

Since arriving in 2022, he’s brought elegance, steel, and leadership to the midfield. His performances have drawn attention from Europe’s biggest clubs.

With a £100 million release clause and a contract until 2028, Newcastle have protected their prize asset, but they may need to raise his salary again to fend off interest.

For now, he’s their highest earner, and arguably their most important player.
