Walker, coming off a first-round submission win over Thomas Petersen at UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi in July, used a sit-down with Brazilian YouTube channel Sexto Round to question whether Pereira can still carry himself as the sport’s biggest name.
Pereira is a former UFC light heavyweight and middleweight champion. He vacated the 205-pound title in February 2026 to chase a third divisional belt at heavyweight, lost his interim bid to Ciryl Gane in June, and now fights Sergei Pavlovich in the UFC 335 co-main event on December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It is not a title fight.
“The Russian is going to knock out Poatan in the first round. He has a very bruised ego.”
He then zeroed in on Pereira’s spending habits.

“Everything for him is buying luxury cars. Did you see that last luxury car he bought that he doesn’t even fit in? To me, anyone who buys a luxury car they don’t fit in has a small d**k. He has 10cm at most.”
Walker is already looking past the Pavlovich fight.
“He’s gonna get KO’d in the first round, then I’ll fight him, take his foot. Brother, you can expect Poatan back at the tire shop. Unfortunately, that is the future waiting for him.”
Pereira pushes back on Instagram
Pereira has not stayed quiet. On Instagram earlier this week, he described Walker as a “fraud” who had built his record against weaker opposition before reaching the UFC.
“Anyone want to make a video analyzing Valter’s record and explaining why he’s a fraud?”
The former champion had already offered Walker a sparring challenge, offering to pay the equivalent of Walker’s last fight purse if Walker could submit him. Walker’s reply, relayed through Sherdog, was to demand that Pereira fly him to Las Vegas, or buy him a business-class ticket to Russia so he could train with Pavlovich before UFC 335.
No bout between Walker and Pereira has been scheduled. First, Pereira must get through Pavlovich at UFC 335 on December 12, with Charles Oliveira against Diego Lopes for the BMF title on top of the card.
