Endrick has barely played under Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho this season, and his representatives are now exploring a January exit. According to the latest reporting from football-talk.co.uk, Tottenham have moved in front of Arsenal in the race to sign the 20-year-old Brazilian, with Los Blancos said to be open to a loan rather than a permanent departure.
That tilt toward Spurs, if accurate, is a shift from the picture painted earlier in the week. TEAMtalk reported on 31 October that Arsenal had maintained contact with Endrick’s camp and were ready to offer the loan structure Madrid prefer, with one wrinkle: Arsenal want an option to buy. AC Milan and Roma, per the same report, are pushing for straight loans with no purchase option.
Four minutes and growing frustration
Endrick is only on the market because he has barely kicked a ball in anger. Football365, citing Football Insider, described him as “well down the pecking order at the Bernabeu” after just four minutes of first-team football as a substitute.
TEAMtalk added that his representatives began exploring moves after he was left on the bench for the entire match against Barcelona. Mourinho, publicly, has backed the player, and president Florentino Pérez is also said to be a supporter.

Why Spurs, why January
Endrick arrived at Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 from Palmeiras in a deal reported in the region of €60m plus add-ons. His only sustained senior European football outside Madrid came last season on a six-month loan at Lyon, where he contributed five goals and seven assists in 16 Ligue 1 appearances.
For Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham, the appeal is obvious: a left-footed forward who can play centrally or down the right. Spurs signed Savio from Manchester City in the summer, but his fitness has been an issue, and the search for attacking reinforcement has not been private.
Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also described as open to a loan, while Manchester United and Liverpool had earlier conversations about a loan with a permanent option.
Rumour, not deal
The caveats matter. None of this has been confirmed by Real Madrid, Tottenham, Arsenal or Endrick’s camp, and the firmest reporting line to date, that Arsenal are in direct contact over a loan with an option to buy, comes from TEAMtalk’s exclusive rather than from Reuters, the Associated Press or an official club channel.
