Haaland and the £350,000 club
Unsurprisingly, Manchester City’s prolific striker Erling Haaland remains the Premier League’s highest-paid player, commanding an estimated weekly wage of £525,000. Since his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, Haaland has been a revelation, scoring 112 goals in 132 games for Manchester City, securing two Premier League titles and three Golden Boot awards.
Tied for second place, both earning £350,000 per week, are Liverpool’s defensive stalwart Virgil van Dijk and Manchester City’s summer recruit Enzo Fernandez. Van Dijk ascended to this position following Mohamed Salah’s departure from Anfield. Fernandez, meanwhile, made a blockbuster £125 million move to Manchester City in the summer of 2026, a fee that equalled the British transfer record. The midfielder, who previously earned £180,000 per week at Chelsea, put pen to paper on a five-year contract with City, as reported by SalaryLeaks, significantly boosting his earnings.

United and Arsenal stars climb the ranks
A trio of stars share the fourth spot, each earning £300,000 per week: Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, and United’s Marcus Rashford.
Bruno Fernandes, who arrived in England in 2020, signed a bumper contract in 2024 that saw his weekly salary increase by over £100,000, extending his stay at Old Trafford until June 2027. He became United’s highest-paid player after Casemiro’s departure in summer 2026. Fernandes has been a pivotal figure for the Red Devils, scoring 79 goals and contributing 67 assists in 234 appearances, while also winning three Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year awards. According to manutd.com, he has created more chances than any other Premier League player since joining in January 2020.
Speaking on his contract extension, Fernandes told manutd.com: “Everybody knows the passion I have for Manchester United. I understand the responsibility and significance of wearing this shirt, and the levels of dedication and desire required to represent this incredible club.
