The surgery Wayne Rooney has actually had, he told the Daily Mail via BANG Showbiz, was on his nose.
“I couldn’t blow one side out of my nose and so I had it fixed,” he said.
Coleen Rooney did not let the point pass without her own contribution.
“I tried to get him to do it because of his snoring,” she said.

The nose story landed alongside the launch of The Real Rooneys, a Disney+ documentary series that went live on the streaming service on Thursday with eight episodes, followed by two special episodes on 1 October.
Rooney rejects the ‘pen’ claim
Online speculation about the source of Rooney’s slimmed-down look had already reached the former England captain by the time he sat down for the interview.
“Apparently, I’ve seen recently, I’ve been taking this pen thing about me,” Rooney said.
“It’s a shame, because I’m working really hard to lose weight.”

“Apparently, I’ve been on the pen,” he added.
Rooney gave no figure for how much he has lost and pointed to gym work rather than any weight-loss medication as the reason for the change.
Coleen fielded her own questions about staying in shape.
“It’s one of those things, I have to go to the gym to maintain because I’m only short, I want to enjoy my food,” she said.

Coleen draws the line at ‘cosmetic’
Coleen cut in on her husband as the conversation turned to his operation.
“I thought you were gonna say then, my nose wasn’t a cosmetic job, it was a medical job!” she said.
The former Manchester United and England striker had put off the procedure for years despite breaking his nose twice during his playing career.
The Real Rooneys follows the couple as Wayne steps back from football management and Coleen pursues her Primark fashion line, alongside family life with their four sons, Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass.
